The new GLAB art collection

ANAMORPHIA

Matter holds the image. Light makes it visible.

An artwork that changes throughout the day

Colour reveals the artwork. We ask light to do it.

Image. Matter. Light.

We start from an ultra-high-resolution scan or photograph, but we do not reconstruct the original matter. We create new matter: a monochrome topography of relief, depth and microstructures designed so light and shadow make the image emerge. Matter remains still. The perception of the image does not.

Anamorphia does not pretend to possess the original and does not seek to replace it. It allows us to experience it in another way: different matter, different light, a different experience. The Mona Lisa is Anamorphia 001, the beginning of a possible collection, not the limit of the project. The precise process remains part of GLAB know-how.
